2010 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival

Hot Honey staff tasted their way through “Melbourne’s top 30 hawkers’ dishes out on the street” Tuesday night in the Queen Victoria Market. Hot Honey showed its veteran spirit and foodie enthusiasm, arriving half an hour early to set up our table for friends.

Attending Heat Beads Hawkers’ Market is a tradition for Hot Honey. Afterall, we’re a cafe as much in love with eating food as we are with serving food!

While Heat Beads sponsored Hawkers’ Market, beads of heat poured off us with Tuesday night’s temperatures still at 30 degrees Celsius at 7 p.m. Plus, chilli dish after chilli dish was devoured, and Dainty Sichuan’s peppery sichuan pork, chicken and prawn platter was too aesthetically temptingly to resist.

We’ll be going to lots more events at the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Are you?
